At the end of term, Liskeard School & Community College students Josh Conway, Lissie Boney and Toby Cogan raised money for their ‘Camps International Trip’ to Ecuador by running a Halloween disco for students in year 7 and 8.

The New Hall was filled with music and lights as students danced the night away in a terrifying selection of amazing Halloween costumes. Teachers Mrs Kelly and Mrs Dove even joined in with costumes of their own.  In addition to the music there were activities for the students to try including pinning the nose on the witch, the slime experience and apple bobbing.

Nearly £500 was raised for the worthy cause.  Student and co-organiser Lissie said “We are so grateful for everyone's generosity. Students who could not come along on the night still donated to our cause. It was a great evening and we are so pleased everyone had such a great time”
