This term Year 8 have been learning about the Cornish Rebellion of 1497, when a group of Cornish tin miners led an unsuccessful rebellion against unfair taxes set by Henry VII.

Their homework was to produce a model or design for a memorial to the rebels who marched to London to protest to the King. Some of the models and products were very impressive with students using a range of materials to make them including ceramics, cardboard, tissue, canvas, building blocks, wood and jewellery boxes! Pictured above are some of the pupils from 8K and 8L with their completed homework.
