Year 10 students enjoyed a visit to the Penryn Campus of Exeter University last week to explore life as a Science student. Following a lecture on student life and a walking tour of the campus, students took part in two workshops.

The first workshop involved imaging cells in a University lab, whilst the afternoon saw them enter a wind turbine design competition, with awards handed out for efficiency and creativity of design.

#TeamLiskeard secured positions 1, 2 and 3 for efficiency and were also awarded the most creative design by the students running the workshop. It was a very successful end to a very successful day!

The students were a credit to the school throughout the day, taking full advantage of the opportunity to engage with the student ambassadors, asking questions about facilities and student life.
