Liskeard School was delighted to receive a clothes bank from local company Edubanks. Edubanks are a Cornish Textiles Recycling company that recycle clothing, shoes, leather goods, sheets, curtains, towels and blankets. Some of the proceeds are then invested back into the school to help improve the education of the students at Liskeard School.

The clothes bank is located near the Old Hall in the car park at Liskeard School and donations are welcome from anyone in the community.

The school would like to thank Edubanks for their support and superb customer service in setting this up.

Business Manager Paul Taylor said “This seemed very much like a “win-win” situation when I heard about this scheme. Edubanks do as much as they possibly can to recycle clothing and the like and therefore help the environment, our local communities and the Third World, and the school gets some funding to go back to support our students. There is literally no catch and Edubank do all the organising and hard work. I strongly recommend that you get involved!”
