Students from Liskeard School & Community College, and members of the Liskeard School Rowing Club, are using their rowing skills to help support Cancer Research UK in preparation for the upcoming Relay For Life at the end of May.

The relay is a 24 hour event held in 50 locations across the country over the summer months. The event involves teams walking around a running track through the night, testing stamina, endurance and resilience for and amazing cause.

Ru Parker-Jones, Jay Mason and Jacob Pengelly recently completed a 6 hour row to raise awareness for the event and help raise additional funds for the main event on Saturday 27th May.

The school is very proud of the students and the efforts they are going to for the charity, a charity in which the school continues to support in its many fundraising activities across the academic year.
