The TicTac Centre, at Liskeard School & Community College, received a financial boost recently due to the amazing efforts of a local fundraiser.

Mark Kelly completed the Cotswold Triathlon in a time of 1 hour and 7 minutes and raised a grand total of £1,858 for TicTac, an information and advice centre for young people, which provides health and emotional support for students at Liskeard School.

Mark spent a long time in Cornwall due to his father serving in the RAF. His fondness for the area prompted him to want to give something back and he approached Dereen Carnegie-Rance, TicTac Manager and counsellor, to ask if he could sponsor the centre.

Dereen attended the triathlonevent, which took place in Cirencester, to cheer on Mark and offer support as a way of thanking him for his efforts.

Dereen she said “I would like to thank Mark very much for the great lengths he went to support the TicTac Centre.”
