Liskeard School and Community College has had a facelift - a partial facelift, that is! Its Sixth Form has been rebranded to emphasize its status as a community college and to make it distinguishable from the rest of the school. Head Teacher, Alex Lingard, said "Although the name Liskeard School and Community College says we are both a School and a College we wanted to create something more visual to show that they are different. I'm absolutely delighted with the outcome."

The rebranding was done in house by the school's very own Website and Publicity Manager, Richard Luscombe. Richard incorporated the school's kite logo into a design that is both modern and eye-catching. Students from years 8 to 13 were involved in the consultation process and gave the final design a big thumbs up. Newly elected Sixth Form President/Vice President, Will Kitto/Abi Sharma Burford, said, "We love the new design. It really makes the Sixth Form stand out."

Gill Prichard, Sixth Form Director, is also impressed, "This is a great way to show off the college. We already have a great reputation, but with the new design and more vocational courses on offer this year I think we are going to be very busy on enrolment day!"
