Welcome to  'SLUGS' (School's Little Ukulele Group) ... a newly formed group of ukulele enthusiasts. We meet every Thursday lunchtime and, as you can see, we are open to both students and staff! Apparently, the word 'Ukulele' means 'Jumping Flea' in Hawaii.

We've also been told that the ukulele is one of the easiest instruments to learn to play and while some of us might not necessarily agree with that statement it is, without doubt, a fun instrument, easily transportable and our group, which is steadily growing in numbers, are having great fun … and making progress!!! We'd love more people to join us; so whether you’re an absolute beginner or have been playing the ukulele for some time why not check us out on a Thursday lunchtime in the Conference Room and maybe unlock a  musical talent that you never thought you had … We’d really love to see you!
