The Class of 2009 arrived to their prom in style. A variety of classic cars and an old steam traction engine provided Hollywood glamour to the occasion. There were a large number of local people who arrived to welcome the students as they arrived on the red carpet.

The school hall had been transformed and was a perfect venue for the evening. The beau and belle of the ball were Elliot Grange and Jess Lambie.  Many thanks to all the staff who volunteered to wait on tables and who worked tirelessly to make the evening very special.

Head teacher Donna Bryant said “Once again Liskeard's prom was a great success with the town turning out to line the road to welcome Year 11 to their celebrations. This a very special day in the school year and one I am going to miss. It is a real joy to share the event with the town and all the students who are able to have their moment basking in the limelight in front of a good crowd. The prom takes a great deal of organisation and our thanks go to the staff who make this such a successful event.”

Our best wishes go to all our leavers and we wish them every success for the future.
