On the 1st of April all of the year twelve students took part in one of twenty four sessions offering careers advice in a variety of fields of employment.  Students actively engaged with organisations from the local community, ranging from doctors and medical professionals to chief engineers.

Students found information about what it is like to work in areas in which they are interested and the entry requirements needed.  The feedback from the guest speakers who came from all across Cornwall and Devon was very positive and the students were praised for their inquisitive and intelligent questions.  This was a good preparation for students who are arranging their summer term work experience and who will soon be looking to apply for jobs and university through the UCAS process.
