Personal statement: I am married to Charles and have three children (one at university, one music college and one in year 10 at Liskeard) and two step-children. Family and friends, church life and singing in the voluntary choir at Truro Cathedral occupy my spare time, along with a cunning plan to try to develop a new cycling/walking trail from Liskeard to Looe.

Personal statement: I have been a volunteer at TicTac, on the school site, since helping start the charity 17 years ago. My background is in nursing until 1987 when I went on to study Child Psychology and train as a Children and Adolescent Counsellor. My entire career is given to helping our young people through what can be a very difficult time in our world, helping with the challenges they face and seeing the world through their eyes.

Personal statement:I am a former student of Liskeard School as was my daughter. I am passionate about giving something back to the school. Being a governor takes a lot of time and commitment, but we work closely together to form strong relationships with the whole school staff. Personal statement: I am the co-ordinator of Cornwall CMT group, supporting families who have the neuromuscular condition Charcot-Marie-Tooth condition, a form of Muscular Dystrophy. I am also assistant secretary of two clubs - Ocean City PFC, a club for disabled children and adults to play Powerchair football; and Powerpack, a club for disabled children. Both clubs are based in Plymouth. My hobbies include crochet, card making, reading and listening to music.

I enjoy being a governor at Liskeard School and Community College. I have two children in school and my husband also has several grandchildren in school.

I am the link governor to the English department and TicTac.
